Verydarkman, Bobrisky: “Bobrisky Merely Requested Financial Aid For Prison VIP Accommodations” – Falz
Falz, the celebrated Nigerian rapper and activist, whose real name is Folarin Falana, disclosed that Bobrisky contacted him only to request financial aid during his time in prison.
Loudit.ng states that Bobrisky was sentenced to three months imprisonment for naira mutilation after entering a guilty plea, subsequent to his apprehension by the EFCC.
He was released on 5th August, 2024.
Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, published an audio recording on September 24, 2024, supposedly featuring Bobrisky’s voice, alleging that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and his son, Falz, helped secure the dismissal of money laundering charges during his incarceration.
Following widespread outrage over the revelation, Falz, through his counsel at Falana & Falana’s Chambers, issued a denial of initiating contact with Bobrisky while he was imprisoned.
According to him, the cross dresser contacted him seeking a financial contribution of N3 million to facilitate payment to specific officials in exchange for VIP section accommodation at the Correctional Centre.
In a letter circulating on social media, Falz criticized VeryDarkMan for issuing a statement with numerous allegations against him without prior contact.
