I Authorized VeryDarkMan To Reveal Information About Bobrisky, Says: Seun Kuti
Seun Kuti, a celebrated singer, has shared details of his involvement in the escalating drama between Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, who goes by the name VeryDarkMan.
VDM published an audio recording on Tuesday night, supposedly from Bobrisky, alleging that he gave EFCC officials N15m to discontinue the money laundering charges leveled against him.
The recording reveals Bobrisky’s assertion that he did not spend a day in prison subsequent to his conviction and sentencing to six months imprisonment, crediting his godfather with arranging an alternative service of his term in a private lodge.
On Wednesday morning, Bobrisky disputed the claims, asserting the recording was inauthentic since he had already served his prison sentence.
In response, Seun Kuti revealed he was the one who advised VeryDarkMan to publicize the information about Bobrisky after being informed about the recording.
Kuti stated during an Instagram live session, ‘You’re all late to this discussion; VeryDarkMan initially informed me, and I granted him permission to expose Bobrisky.’
The EFCC has issued summons to Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan regarding the alleged N15 million bribery involving its personnel.
Requiring their presence at the Lagos State office to provide pertinent information and facilitate the ongoing inquiry.
