Bobrisky responds to Femi Falana’s 12-hour ultimatum for apology
Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, has issued a reply to Femi Falana and his son, Falz, regarding allegedly libelous comments made in certain audio recordings
The letter from Falana demanded an apology from Bobrisky within 12 hours, warning of potential legal action if he failed to respond.
Via his Instagram Story, Bobrisky made a definitive statement denying any acts of defamation and rejecting claims of bribing a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to obtain a presidential pardon, and declared his intention to cease public commentary.
The correspondence, which was reported by Within Nigeria, urged Bobrisky to apologize for allegedly defamatory remarks made in audio recordings shared by social media activist, VeryDarkMan.
Falana’s letter contained a 12-hour deadline, notifying Bobrisky of potential legal ramifications should failure to comply ensue.
Through his Instagram Story, Bobrisky released a statement vehemently refuting the accusations of defamation.
He denied claims of bribing a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to obtain a presidential pardon and stated that he would no longer publicly address the issue, instead leaving all legal aspects to the expertise of his attorney.
Additionally, Bobrisky distanced himself from the controversial audio recordings, stating that the individual responsible for sharing the content should be held accountable.
