Dammy Krane recalled how Verydarkman had advocated for him in the past, but felt that he did not thoroughly investigate his case before taking action.

He claimed that Verydarkman exhibited preferential treatment and selective advocacy, concentrating solely on specific facets of the situation.

The artist referenced his previous experiences with Davido and the Dangote case, highlighting that his comments were factual and thus required no retraction.

He highlighted the importance of seeking evidence and understanding the facts before taking a stance or making accusations.

Dammy Krane said:

“I feel like God is using this Falana case to show Verydarkman that he didn’t do right by me because if it was another person he would have looked into the evidence.

“He would have looked into the case, where I stated that Davido owed me money for songs. It was simply things he posted online that I spoke of so Verydarkman should have looked into it. Even in the Dangote case, it was what the police said that I repeated; he didn’t look into the evidence before coming out to talk.

“He was doing selective activism based on favouritism. Later you’d say I should apologise and say I lied and I was trying to tell him that I couldn’t apologise for saying the truth because they have no evidence against me. I was only illegally destined.

“If I had apologised, they’d have had evidence to carry me to court. That’s what they’re doing with him; after he apologised, now it’s 500 million”.
